    The Successful Candidate will:

    • Be a key member of the rapidly-growing Product Development team, whose primary responsibility will be creating test & validation programs to verify and advance the performance of Panaxium’s proprietary organic bio-electronics platform.
    • Provide guidance to the design team to ensure that design specifications are adequately written to support verification activities.
    • Become familiar with and stay current on relevant medical device standards and regulations
    • Demonstrates applicable experience with performing Finite Element Analysis and root-cause analysis of our organic bio-electronic products.
    • Have the ability to work within a team of electronics engineers and scientific managers to determine causes of failures and actively propose solutions.
    • Design, maintain and manage biocompatibility test plans and reports.
    • Design and manage sterilization validation activities.
    • Design tests to determine device stability including accelerated life time testing, reliability and durability.
    • Is enthusiastic about contributing their own expertise while learning from a multidisciplinary team, including neuro-technologists and material scientists.

    The Successful Candidate will:

    • Be a key member of the rapidly-growing Product Development team, whose primary responsibility will be creating test & validation programs to verify and advance the performance of Panaxium’s proprietary organic bio-electronics platform
    • Will be responsible for developing system-level procedures to perform characterization of devices both in the laboratory and for in-line use on Panaxium’s microfab pilot line
    • Will be familiar with automating procedures and data collection to enable rapid feedback in order to influence product development decisions in real-time
    • Demonstrates applicable experience with performing root-cause analysis of semiconductor products and the ability to work within a team of electronics engineers and scientific managers to determine causes of failures and actively propose solutions
    • Is enthusiastic about contributing their own expertise while learning from a multidisciplinary team, including neuro-technologists and material scientists
    • Demonstrates experience working with electronic devices that rely on the recording and signal processing of weak analog signals with complex environmental influences such as human electrophysiology, medical RF signal processing, CMOS or CCD image sensors, or similar applicable fields. Experience with organic conducting, semiconducting, or optoelectronic materials is beneficial but not required.

  3. Process Engineer: Development / Industrialization MicroFabrication

    Reporting to the "Microfabrication" Lead, you will participate in the achievement of the company’s objectives, in close collaboration with the product development, production and quality teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of our manufacturing processes until they go into full production. The technologies used for microfabrication are layer deposition processes and localization processes.

    The candidate will:

    • Contribute to the development of the architecture and design rules for Panaxium’s device platform for producing a wide range of novel bioelectronics medical devices.
    • Use their extensive experience and mastery of microfabrication process such as photolithography, thin-film deposition, and etching processes of both inorganic and organic materials, in order to implement a rapid iterative prototyping process for both research prototypes and products in development.
    • Troubleshoot areas of improvement of system integration with micro and macro packaging and data analysis systems.
    • Develop and perform in-line metrology and characterization procedures for device performance and yield, and provide timely feedback to R&D and Product Development teams to inform development decision-making.
    • Be enthusiastic about contributing their own expertise while learning from a multidisciplinary team, including neuro-technologists and material scientists.
    • Thrive in an environment that is creative and fast-paced, but also demands meticulous detail and discipline within their own area of responsibility.

    Required profile :

    • You are an engineer (Bac+5) with at least 3 years of experience in the development of industrial processes for microelectronics.
    • Knowledge of basic processes used in microelectronics, and nanotechnologies
    • Expertise in one or more of the following fields: organic and/or inorganic thin film deposition, thin film etching, photolithography.
    • Experience in developing manufacturing processes on organic materials will be appreciated.
    • Knowledge in clean room environment and the associated clean concept
    • Knowledge in metrology (microscopy, physio-chemical and electrical characterization) will be appreciated.

    • Has expertise in electronic design and analog signal processing for electrophysiology and has the ability to translate product requirements into technical requirements
    • Has a passion and knowledge of new innovations in the field of bioelectronics and a desire to encourage new approaches into Panaxium’s product development efforts.
    • Has expert-level understanding of the fundamentals of circuit design, circuit analysis, digital and analog circuitry, development and debugging tools, engineering drawings and documentation, CMOS, mixed high-speed signal, and RF design
    • Is enthusiastic about contributing their own expertise while learning from a multidisciplinary team, including neuro-technologists and material scientists
    • Experience with organic conducting, semiconducting, or optoelectronic materials, or experience with microfluidic devices is beneficial but not required.
